Phuket has long been recognized as the preferred tourist destination in Southeast Asia. More recently, Phuket is becoming the site-of-preference for exclusive second and vacation homes. Kata Beach, located on the prestigious west side of Phuket Island, is one of the most pristine beaches on the island. It is the same beach chosen by Club Med for the location of their Thailand resort. Kata Beach, one of the favored beaches for swimming and sunning, is located in close proximity to the nightlife of Patong Beach, the shopping conveniences of Phuekt Town, and the spectacular sunsets of Laem Promthep.

The Cottages at Kata Beach are located on the side of a lush tropical mountain, approximately one kilometer (1 km) from the beach. The site offers spectacular sea views of the beach and Crab Island from the upper cottage sites, and beautiful tropical garden views from the lower sites.
